    Unfortunately this isn’t real financial literacy due to the fact that taxes r voluntary, and the act of 1933 is still active n cash is fiat not actual currency! Our kids need to learn entrepreneurship not being govt hamsters running in a wheel and growing up to be sheep! This is the main goal of Homeschool n not to instilling public education into them!

    Please make the flip through and review on the happy cheetah level two!!! I just started the level one prep book with my first grader and I am struggling to understand how this program works. I am about ready to throw in the towel on it as I don’t really see phonics instruction in here. So how is the child set up to learn to read long term without any phonics..? Debating if I need to switch to a more phonics based program or not.

    • @FullPurposeAndHeart
      @FullPurposeAndHeart 10 дней назад

      I don’t know much but I will say I don’t think happy cheetah is super phonics based in grade K. They do incorporate the chunking method from Spelling You See but it didn’t feel super phonics heavy. I will totally do a flip though for you.

I just pick the chapter book or even picture book (he still likes them) and I go off the suggestions in the book and if I need more advanced material then I just Pinterest, look online, or use layers of learning curriculum (kind of like Pinterest all on paper organized) to pick activities.

    I love the scope and sequence. Is it per subject or how many spreads does it have for that? I'll be honest-the only reason why I chose Mardel is because they have that scope and sequence by quarter per subjects. I love being able to create the benchmarks but I love your planner layout! I'm excited to try it next time!

I sometimes go back and use Carson Dellosa and Evan Moor books and while working through them I’ve discovered the standard for every grade level as I work through workbooks grades 1-12 out of order since I’m an adult. I have had 4 kids on it at once and never had issues and they went through high school. it stats that there is a lot and to only use as much as a paperent thinks their child needs. I never needed to buy anything. As my kids got older they were able to do it all on their own. We also got the games for history. I love the fact that it is nondenominational but still cover very good Christian values. I am a very busy mom that was working , had at least four kids homeschooling at a time, diving my blind husband where he needing and work our farm and still had time for this program. Some days we had lighter school work but for the most part we did school from 8am to 11 am each day, so my kids spent way less time in school than my older kids did before they were homeschooled or in a charter school. So 3 hours with a small break worked great. I still have one kid finishing high school, going to college, and working while using this program and she still has plenty of time to sleep and be on her phone. And none of my kids like school at all and sometimes struggle.

      @@FullPurposeAndHeart The key is it is not made to use everything they set for each day. You only should use what your child and you can handle and /or need. Like our traditional schools here if your child can do everything each day it would be the equivalent to the "Gate " program that is for the A++ students. I hope that helps you. With the kindergarten you should only need to be spending a max of 2 hours on it with it broken into at least 4 parts. With homeschooling on average you should not be spending over half of the time as traditional school spends a day. Here the kids are there 7 hours or 4 for kindergarten. Unless your child loves learning.

    It's meant to be one piece of ELA instruction. As a homeschooling mom who is a former teacher but before the Science of Reading became widely known, it's been a great resource for me to see the phonics progression for my younger kids. Helps me know what they need support with, and I can do that support in additional, more hands-on and engaging ways. We recently started and it's helped my middle child stay focused, as he's been struggling working one on one with me. So it's been a great break for him, and it's building his confidence in reading. My oldest is in 4th and a strong reader and strong with comprehension, but am eager to see how this may help with critical thinking and her spelling/phonics knowledge. Ideally the homeschooling parent is sitting next to the child to see firsthand where they are excellling and where they need support. Definitely going to dig into the speeding through grade levels comments you shared, I am hoping that doesn't happen for us!

      Absolutely! Well said. We were in a tough season of life and I was misinformed as to the “hands off” nature of this program! So yes. Absolutely best used as one piece of a whole plan.

    Thank you for your video it was very much educational. :)) I have a few questions for you pertaining to the summer camps, does it require for the host to have a license/ LLC? How would the host go about applying for a grants to help support the cost of the camp along with the supplies & the helpers for the kids or being based upon medical low income based kids in the community ? Does the camp helpers that i may personally know have to have a background check done before assisting and if so, how would i go about that process?

      Good questions. I am not a legal professional nor pretend to understand requirements for all counties in the country. So, I’d say you’ll want to reach out to some community business leaders. My camp I ran was very private/close friends and family so the requirements were different.

    When you purchase the physical book is there a site to go to to print the pages for children since it’s on the back of the “teacher” guide or is it meant to be photo copied? Thank you for the review love the spiral books you picked.

      I’ve always just copied the pages from home. I don’t think there is an online option when purchasing the physical copy.

    As a future homeschool teacher I personally think the fun in school shouldn’t end at any point and the advantages of secondary education should be incorporated into primary education. Also I create my own workbook like study materials based on Evan Moor and Carson Dellosa. I also shorten my courses to make them easier

    Thank you for the info.🌷 We are finishing up our study of the Revolutionary War and will begin The Civil War mid September. Going to check out Evan Moor for this, per your recommendation. 👈
